To coincide with the release of classical artist Mariam Batsashvili's latest album, Warner Classics hired us to capture several live performance recordings of Mariam in studio.

In order to not disturb her performance during incredibly technically complex pieces, we employed a fixed rig multi camera setup to cause zero distraction.  Once these performances were complete, we then had the crew filming with her in studio to capture more dynamic footage that could be used to elevate the cinematic elements of the film.

The recording process for any artist can be a very stressful one, only intensified by the presence of a film crew,.  It was crucial that we were adaptable in our filming techniques and flexible with schedules, as some tracks take significantly longer to perfect than others.  Our crew kept a small footprint and a low profile, and slotted into the process seamlessly to capture stunning footage and create an elegant and sophisticated suite of films for our client.
